System Architecture Overview

Growth OS is a custom-built web application (Laravel + React + PostgreSQL). This is not a WordPress site with plugins, a template, or an off-the-shelf SaaS tool. Every module — the intake engine, brand profile system, content workflows, approvals, and weekly rhythm — is built from scratch to your exact specifications.

These are honest engineering calculations, not sales hype. There is no promise of lightning-fast delivery, cheap costs, or a magic bullet solution here. Custom web applications at this complexity level require real engineering time: database architecture, API design, multi-tenant account isolation, background job queues, AI integrations, and thorough testing before anything touches a real client. There are no shortcuts.

This is proper software development — not AI-generated boilerplate. AI tools serve as an accelerator, but the real advantage is that every module is architected, coded, tested, and hardened by experienced engineers who understand multi-tenant SaaS. This means clean architecture, deliberate design decisions, and software built to scale — not a patchwork of prompt-generated snippets stitched together without engineering oversight.

The Commercial Asset: This level of engineering rigor is intentional. Growth OS is not just an internal tool; it is a first-of-its-kind commercial asset. By hard-coding the actual operational workflows of a 40-year legacy business into a scalable, multi-tenant architecture, we are building a platform with massive, proven market potential. This is a category-defining software designed not just to function, but to scale and dominate a highly specific SaaS market niche.

Timeline note: All estimates assume developers using AI-assisted coding and agent tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor). This meaningfully accelerates development compared to traditional coding — but does not eliminate architecture planning, integration work, QA, or deployment hardening. Raw week estimates reflect AI-accelerated output; the realistic total adds integration, testing, and buffer on top.

The module scope below is based on the SOP 001–005 review for The Churchville Inn. Phase 1 is the recommended launch scope. Phase 2 adds AI intelligence after the foundation is live. Deferred modules are not needed at launch and are better handled by existing tools in the interim.

Available Modules

Drag modules into scope manually, or use the phase buttons on the right to load a complete phase. Phase 1 is the proof of concept. Each phase builds on the last.

MVP Scope

Foundation modules are locked. Drag modules back to Available to remove from scope.

Enterprise Timeline

Part-time development introduces context-switching overhead. A 1.8× multiplier + 2-week fixed overhead is applied.

Architecture & Sprint 0 Database schema design, multi-tenant architecture setup, infrastructure decisions, CI/CD pipeline, and sprint planning. 0 wks
Core Feature Development Net coding time for all selected modules — UI, APIs, database logic, business rules. AI-assisted velocity assumed. 0 wks
Integration & AI Orchestration Time to wire modules together: AI API pipelines, WebSocket state sync, queue workers, cross-module data flows. 0 wks
Platform Operations Server provisioning, CI/CD pipeline, environments, backups, monitoring, deployment scripts. Capped at 4 weeks. 0 wks
QA, Stabilization & Buffer 20–25% of raw + integration time. Covers functional QA, edge case testing, UAT, bug fixes, and production hardening. +0 wks
Raw Development 0 wks
Realistic Enterprise Total 0 wks
